Simpson had a good acting career in addition to his football career.

He starred in all three ‘The Naked Gun’ franchises. Simpson has also appeared in films such as “The Cassandra Crossing” and “The Capricorn One.”

Simpson retired from football in 1979, the same year Aaren passed away.

OJ retired from acting and went on to serve as a sports broadcaster. He was mostly known for his work as an analyst for NBC’s “NFL on NBC” and “Monday Night Football.”

In 1995, he was found not guilty of murder in the case known as “People v. Simpson.”

Regardless of her private disposition, she attended every court hearing with her children.

Aaren Simpson parents’ rocky relationship before her death

When attending Galileo High School, Aaren Simpson’s parents became high school sweethearts.

On the other hand, Marguerite was dating OJ’s best friend Al ‘AC’ Cowlings before their engagement.

According to sources, Simpson first met Whitley when Al Cowlings approached him to speak with his mother.

Cowlings requested that OJ talk with Marguerite about their marital problems.

Instead of sorting the issue, OJ and Marguerite became infatuated with each other.

Whitley then ended her relationship with Cowlings to date Simpson as a result of the incident.

Following that, the pair began dating and married in 1967, when they were still just 19 years old.

OJ was only a freshman at USC at the time.

In 1968, the couple welcomed their first child, Arnelle, after only a year of marriage.

In 1970, they had a son called Jason. Aaren, on the other hand, arrived nine years later than her older sibling.

In OJ and Marguerite’s relationship, several issues had begun to surface. According to sources, the problems emerged as a result of OJ’s celebrity and infidelity.

Simpson admitted to a publication that his rising celebrity was the source of conflict in his marriage. In 1968, Whitley told Look Magazine that her then-husband was a beast and a cruel human.

According to sources, domestic disorder and harassment were reported to the police at the Simpson home in West LA.

OJ and Marguerite, on the other hand, say that they had no violent problems.

Marguerite also said in a January 1995 interview with Barbara Walters,

“If he (OJ) had hit me, he would have been hit in the head with a frying pan. I would never have allowed that to happen to me.”

In the interview, Whitley did confess that she was aware of Simpson’s affairs.

Aaren’s parents eventually divorced in 1979, just five months before she died. Marguerite has gotten their family home and custody of their children in exchange for $26,000.

Following the death of Aaren Simpson and the dissolution of their union, OJ married Nicole Brown, his late ex-wife.

Marguerite Whitley, on the other hand, married Rudolph Lewis, a transit supervisor, first. Then she married Anthony Thomas, a furniture distribution agent.

How did Aaren Simpson Die?

Aaren was said to have died in the family pool after collapsing and drowning.

Just a few weeks before her second birthday, she had an accident.

She was alone at the time of the tragic incident. Marguerite Whitley, Aaren’s grandma, discovered her unconscious.

According to news, Whitley called 911 as soon as she saw Aaren floating in the pool, dead.

If the paramedics could administer CPR on Aaron, the Simpson family had reason to be hopeful.

She was placed on life support and rushed to the University of California Medical Center in Los Angeles. For a few days, Aaren was in a coma.

When Aaren Simpson died on August 26, 1979, her family’s dreams were dashed.

While receiving world-class medical care, she was unable to return from the injury. She’d suffered from respiratory disease.

Aaren’s death was a crippling loss to a family that was still in disarray. They arranged a private service for her, with only close relatives and friends in attendance.

Her parents asked that everyone who wished to donate to the family instead donate to the UCLA Cancer Research Center in Aaren’s name at the funeral.

Aaren Simpson is laid to rest in Culver City’s Holy Cross Cemetery today.
